Network asset management
Network asset management systems are designed for businesses with numerous assets dispersed in the field, mainly for companies from the power, water distribution, heat distribution and gas industries.
The key functionality of the network asset management system is the integration of descriptive data with a digital map. This makes it possible to visualize the descriptive data on a graphical map within a single system and using a unified user interface. Data integration is bilateral: it allows users to, for example, visualize data from a catalogue on a map and move from the map to the descriptive catalogues, depending on the context. Moreover, the system supports all the processes related to utilizing network assets:
- Keeping the updated technical register of the utilized assets,
- Utilization history register – storing information about completed tasks, repairs, inspections, maintenance procedures, etc.,
- Scheduling and carrying out periodical works: maintenance, inspections, etc.
