RCM

The RCM method systematically identifies all the functions of any technical system, errors (defects) related to using functions, and any possible causes of these defects. Next, the method identifies the direct results of the identified defects, as well as their importance and consequences of the results. Once all the information is retrieved, the RCM analytical process selects the most appropriate reliability maintenance policy for the analyzed asset (facility), whether it is a manufacturing machine, vehicle, installation, energy system, vessel or building.

Within the scope of RCM, we provide the following services:
  • Training courses,
  • RCM methodology deployment projects based on a dedicated IT system,
  • Integration of CMMS/EAM systems with systems supporting RCM.
Unlike any other reliability maintenance methods, RCM takes all possible actions into account: caused by the diagnosed technical condition of the device, scheduled maintenance works, scheduled component replacement procedures, looking for implicit damage and one-off modifications (redesigning components, modifying operating procedures, additional training courses for operators or other activities outside of the standard scope of maintenance works).
RCM is one of several methods developed globally since the 1970s in various sectors of the industry, which were supposed to help to select the best models for managing the reliability of the assets used. Out of the many methods, the current version of RCM is the most precise, smart and structured method, fitting well to any technical environment.
